In August 2024, we had the pleasure of embarking on a birdwatching adventure in Sri Lanka, and it exceeded all of our expectations! My mother, sister, and I were truly amazed by the diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. One of the most memorable parts of our journey was visiting Mannar, where we had the rare opportunity to observe flamingos in their natural habitat, an experience we will never forget! Another unforgettable highlight was the boat ride safari at Gal Oya Lodge, where we got up close to the stunning wildlife while taking in the beauty of the lake and its surroundings.

In August 2024, my family and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Sri Lanka, and it far exceeded all our expectations. We were completely enchanted by the vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and the warm hospitality of the people. One of the most memorable parts of our journey was our visit to Mahiyanganaya and the stunning Rathna Ella waterfall. The hike through rural landscapes, tea plantations, and jungle paths was an adventure in itself, and reaching the 100-meter waterfall for a refreshing swim was the perfect reward!
